Working as a team, Klaus Laubmayer the photographer and I created the inventive pages of the now famous ARTWEAR catalog in 1984. Klaus was a genius at his craft, and between the two of us, we made magic. The catalog became a collector’s item instantly. It is focused around three artists, myself, Cara Croninger and Ted Muehling, with the rest of the gallery artists sharing pages in the group compositions. My work was shot on models that Klaus covered with mud, clay, pigments and created the otherworldly earthy look. Cara’s work was on body casts that were frozen in ice with the resin jewelry incorporated. Ted’s jewelry was show on the model Frauke in a realm of whiteness (flour). Each book is signed by me, and is $25. Remember to select media mail at checkout.
