This is the ultimate iconic image from me, the disc being a super simple but mysterious form from which I developed many pieces. Created in 1974 as the foundation piece of my new visual vocabulary, I have done this necklace in many sizes and lengths, and it was used in fashions shows first in 1978 with Bill Kaiserman and later with Calvin Klein in 1981.
