The Dart family was born in the late 1970’s and was entirely built on on the unique form of the feathers of a dart. This is an architectural form, whereby four fins radiate from a center, and then interlock with one another using rivets or pins with balled up endings. This piece is constructed and shaped like a cowl, or a scarf like wave of metal draped at the neck. Very small at 14.25″, it is meant to sit like a dog collar or a victorian ribbon at the base of the neck. One of a kind, and in brass, not gold plated, this is very early and rare. 1979.
