DRAWING IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE PASSTIMES

Painting of four dancing figures

So many people have asked me how I work, do I draw first or do I dive right into my materials?

So many people have asked me how I work, do I draw first or do I dive right into my materials?

My answer is always that I draw constantly, as a way to vent the flow of visions that constantly flow into my mind,
I love the act of drawing, and I feel a strong relationship with my father since he also loved to draw. So often I work directly with my materials first and foremost. Drawing is in itself, a way of meditating and conjuring up the visuals of what I am feeling with my THIRD EYE. The Pineal gland is the door to the imagination and always keep this door open, by drawing.

Here are a few drawings from my old sketchbooks that show how my creative soul works, in a very consistent way, like an identification of sorts. My DNA is revealed through my drawings. It borders on cartoon, yet a touch of Rembrandt. An instinctive grasp of pencil line, and graphics, which is what allowed me to become a sign painter for a few years while feeling my way into the world.

My drawing reveals my basic soul, which is then translated into 3 dimensional form.
