Encouraged by the interior design firm AMAN & MEEKS, I made a proposal with drawings to clients who were building a brand new home in the Hamptons, NY. Once they accepted, I ordered brass sheet and tubing from Rotax Metals in Long Island city, and had it delivered to my studio in Ct.
This story will show a little bit how I made it and installed in the entrance foyer with 22′ high ceilings. THIS IS MY FIRST LIGHTING project and am thrilled by the results! Based on my sculptures of forged discs that slide onto vertical rods, the finished product looks like huge jewelry.
