Cara Croninger Heart Buckle

I asked Cara to make this Cara Croninger Heart Buckle as I was trying to push her into expanding her use of metal within her resin work, and this is one of the pieces she came up with. It is a perfect wedding of metal and resin. The extremely plump and luscious red heart has the brass belt bar and prong embedded and glued into place on the back. Whether you need a new buckle is beside the point with this gorgeous piece of sculpture for your table. In fact, this works best as a stand-alone object/sculpture on one’s desk. I brings a smile every time.
