Robert Lee Morris Gold Plated Pillow Cross Necklace

A chain of melted pats of butter…the soft Pillow Cross design came out of the rich background of cross symbolism through my entire career, and to cut a cross into and through a soft square of golden metal seemed a good idea. Dainty but rich with the thickness of each Pillow Cross, the solid weight of the gold plated brass, make this a piece to love and wear often. There is power in the spirit of these things I made. I always feel it when I pick these hefty pieces up and feel them again.
