RLM SMALL BETA LINK CHOKER

This is a super classic design I did for the premiere Donna Karan collection in 1985. The shape and the name come from a personal vocabulary of shapes that I put into families and gave Greek letters to. This is a twisted ballooning shape called Beta. The large version was a big bold cuff, as well as a belt buckle, and this is the small version as a stunning new kind of linked chain. Each Beta links into the next one and so on.Its about the shape and engineering and the feeling of watery flow. Gold plated brass, 15.5″ so it will fit a very thin neck.
