Robert Lee Morris Brass Rock Shard Keychain

This Robert Lee Morris Brass Rock Shard Keychain was designed after Morris took a trip to the Hebrides Islands around the UK in 1986. Impressed with the very ancient mystical stone circles he found there, he came back to NYC and designed a collection based on celtic ruins, and rock shards. This is solid brass, and has a nice weight to it. The piece was carved from wax and Morris often used the natural roughness of splitting wax to accentuate the texture. Wabi Sabi in nature, imperfect and worn, oxidized by age and golden brown.
