This beautiful and rare Robert Lee Morris Copper Bump Cuff was created as part of the Coty Award-winning collection for Calvin Klein in 1981. It was created by taking a wax impression of the surface of an antique Japanese Iron tea kettle with a pattern of raised bumps all over it. The rich coloration of the brick red copper is from heat treatment, a permanent finish. This is a collector’s item, and an important piece of American fashion history.
