Robert Lee Morris MultiMedia Cross Fringe Necklace

This rare Robert Lee Morris MultiMedia Fringe Choker is from the 1986-87 era and is a glorious mix of brass glass and stone in a dangling fringe-style necklace. The coloration is warm and comforting with clear glass melon beads and brownish-tan hand-drilled river stones, rough and golden mixed with dark black glass beads. Hanging intermittently are brass crucifixes and oval cellular crosses. Morris was obsessed with the cross design and worked with it for his entire career. There is one other of these necklaces on this website with gold-plated elements. As seen in the thumbnails this is a great necklace for layering with other like minded pieces.
