Ted Muehling Fat Feather Earring

From the premiere collection that Ted made for Julio Espada in 1976, this earring made its debut on the runway and won Ted his first Coty Award. This huge, single leaf earring was photographed in all the fashion magazines during the period that I opened Artwear. Ted was one of the first artists in the gallery as part of our permanent stable. Fat Feather and its mate, Thin Feather were quickly inhaled into my personal collection of gallery artists. 18k gold plated brass.
