Mary Hayslip Hands on Fire Single Earring

As part of the narrative jewelry school. Mary Hayslip brought a fresh wind into Artwear, with her southern Texan style and attitude with a voodoo angle. Her beaded one of a kind , single earrings was so on trend with the times. Mary was one of the new talent discoveries in my SPIRIT exhibition in 1984. This single earring is of a ghostly white figure, half of one anyway, with hands emitting flames, or red streaks, or electricity or whatever. The white beaded body is also streaked with blue veins. So full of empathy and story telling.
