Robert Lee Morris Brass Sculpture #108, Large Calligraphic Stack is art for the home. This vertical construction is based on the “Stack” form of forged metal parts that are threaded on a vertical pole, similar to the Eucalyptus plant. Only this version is using curved rectangular pieces that are able to bar moved around and re-arranged like a living sculpture. The base is heavy lucite. It is called “calligraphic” due to the feeling that it could be seen as brush strokes, or an alien alphabet read vertically. This is a strong piece of art for the home or office. At 30″ high, this is a perfect size to move around one’s environment as personal expression.
