Robert Lee Morris for Warner Brothers Tweetie Bird Ring

Looney tunes I always loved them growing up, then one day in 1994 I was approached by Warner Brothers and DC Comics to be a licensee to make branded ‘RLM’ jewelry for their characters.WB was opening a flagship store in NYC 57th St and Fifth Avenue. They wanted a designer style to interpret the Looney Tunes and DC ‘Comic super hero characters in silver jewelry and leather accessories for their newly born retail shops. This piece is from the Looney Tunes collection, ( and is a major piece of carving I have to say). I love carving wax, and enjoyed making this entire collection of characters and faces. Tweetie Bird, just captured in a hunk of silver ring.
